Note on limitations: There were many limitations in the literature and research reviewed throughout this thesis. The major gaps in data available have to do with lack of representation. Three major limitations that surfaced throughout this research were underreporting of abortions, lack of racial/ethnic representation in data, and only cis-gendered data available.
