FUND abortions pop-up is an event series in New York that raises funds for organizations working to improve peoples’ access to abortions in the United States.
This event series is produced and curated by Kyndal Thomas and myself with the goal of improving equitable access to an essential healthcare procedure in our country. Our pop-up events bring people together to donate funds to organizations such as Holler Health Justice, The Brigid Alliance, and the National Network of Abortion Funds. We’ve partnered with local artists, musicians, and speakers to curate live performances. We design and sell apparel to raise money for abortion funds—50% of the proceeds are donated to an abortion fund and the other 50% go directly towards the garment being made.
We hope that Fund Abortions Pop-Ups brings people together to support and defend the right to an abortion, empowering us all to continue the fight for reproductive health justice and a person’s right to choose.
Vote for abortion
Our new campaign, “Vote for Abortion” encourages community members to use Vote pro-choice’s Voters Guide to vote for abortion in their states and to donate to the National Network of Abortion Funds.
